Makes a hearty 6 - 1/2 cup servings.Drain the chickpeas and set aside the liquid from the can if you're using it.Combine the rest of the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Add 1/4 cup of liquid. Blend for 3-5 minutes on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth.Place in serving bowl.
