Here is how you make Chard Greens and Onion:

(1) Dice bacon (very small), sautee bacon in non-stick pan until very crispy, remove from pan and put on one end of a paper towel, fold other end of towel over bacon and press down to remove excess fat. (2) Cut off stems from chard and dice very small, dice or slice onion, then saute stems and onion with salt and pepper until translucent, about 5-8 min. (3) Chop chard to about 1-2" squares. Add chicken broth to onion and stems, bring to boil and add chard, cover and cook for 12-18 minutes until the chard is soft but not stringly like spinach.
