2 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
3 tbsp Cider Vinegar
2 ounce Yeast, bakers
.25 cup Granulated Sugar
.25 cup Olive Oil
2.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap


How Do I Make Debbie's Onion Rolls?

Here is how you make Debbie's Onion Rolls:

Put 2 cups hot water into large bowl. Add sugar,vinegar,and oil. Stir till sugar dissolves. In .5 cup warm water add yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar. Stir till dissolved. Add whole wheat flour to large bowl of water and mix well ,add yeast. Mix well. Use wooden spoon. Add white flour a little at a time till dough is thick and pulls away from sides of bowl. Put 2 cups white flour onto flat surface and knead till elastic. Place in large oiled bowl . Cover with large cloth that has been soaked with hot water. Allow to rise till double in bulk. Put on floured flat surface again and as you knead sprinkle onion flakes on dough with each fold of dough till dough is smooth and elastic again. Use as much onion flakes as you like. Spray 3 loaf pans with cooking spray and divide dough evenly between the three pans. Set in warm place till double in bulk . Spread tops with melted butter and sprinkle with onion flakes. Bake at 400 degrees till tops are browned. Allow to cool before slicing with bread knife. Place in ziplock bags.
