5 tsp salt
1 cupmilk powder
4 cupsall-purpose flour

How Do I Make Potato Buns?

Here is how you make Potato Buns:

in a small bowl stir and dissolve 2 pkg yeast, 1 cup warm water and 2 tbsp sugar. Set aside.In a large bowl, put 4 cups hot water (optional with potatoes), 1 cup shortening, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 5 tsp salt and 1 cup milk powder. Add 1 cup cold water when shortening is melted. Stir in 4 cups all-purpose flour. Beat in 4 eggs. Add yeast mixture. Knead in enough flour to make a soft dough.Preheat oven to about 80 degrees and turn it off before putting the bread in to rise. Let rise in greased large pan in warmed oven for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.Remove and knead again. Shape into small balls for buns. Place on greased container.
