Here is how you make Remy's Ratatouille:

Thinly slice veggies, salt and strain. Place 1/2 c tomato sauce in bottom of 8x8 baking dish. Arrange 1/2 of the veggies in alternating spiral around dish. Top with Herbes de Provence, sliced onion, chopped garlic and 1/2 c more tomato sauce. Layer last of veggies and top with chopped garlic, Herbes de Provence, and rest of tomatoe sauce.
