Prepare rice as directed on package.In separate sauce pan, warm butter and minced garlic over low heat until garlic is softened (remember: low heat. Do not burn the garlic.) Raise heat to medium and add FF half and half, salt, and garlic powder. Stir constantly until liquid is hot, but not boiling. Add gorgozola crumbles and wisk until crumbles are mostly melted (may appear lumpy, that's fine.) Add gorgonzola sauce to cooked rice and mix well. Add black pepper, if desired.
