Here is how you make Squash and Lentils:

Cook lentils per instructions on package - boil with 1.5 tsp salt in 3 cups water, then reduce heat and simmer 20-30 min until tender.Peel squash and cut into 1inch cubes. Chop the onion and saute in large skillet with 2 tbs olive oil until tender and transparent. Add 1 tsp turmeric to the onion then add the squash. Cook covered on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the squash is tender. Then add the cooked lentils. Stir together and add salt, pepper, and cinnamon to taste.
