2 c. fresh green cabbage, chopped##Broccoli, fresh, 1 stalk of broccoli (stem only) small chop
1/2 c. of mashed cannelini beans
5 small, whole canned beets
1/3 c. red onion, chopped
1/2 c. lean ground turkey (browned previously)
1 t. fennel seed (whole)
1 T. grapeseed oil (olive or other oil may be used)
1 T. balsamic vinegar

Here is how you make Cabbage Beet Hash with Ground Turkey:

Chop cabbage, broccoli and red onion. Set aside. Open can of cannellini beans, rinse and drain in strainer to remove excess salt and place in bowl. Do the same with the beets but just add 5 small beets to bowl after rinsing. Heat oil in skillet. Add cabbage, broccoli stems and onion to pan; cook and stir until softened. Add fennel seed and balsamic vinegar (to taste). Stir in previously cooked ground turkey and the bean/beet mixture. Heat for another 2-3 minutes. Add a bit of water or apple juice if has is too dry for you. Serve.
