1/3 C lukewarm water
2 T Butter
1/2 T Honey
1/2 T Molasses
1 1/2 Skim milk (scalded)
3 - 4 C Bronze Chief Whole Wheat flour


How Do I Make Whole Wheat Rolls?

Here is how you make Whole Wheat Rolls:

Soften yeast in water. Pour Scalded milk over butter, honey, molasses and salt, Mix in one cup of the flourand cool. When mixture is cooled down, add egg, beating well and stir in the yeast mixture. Using mixer continue beating in the remaining flour till soft dough is formed around hook and follows the hook around mixer. Grease or spray 2 cookie sheets. I use Pam on my hands form round circles and place on sheets a couple inches apart. Spray tops of the rolls with butter flavor pam and sprinkle sesame seeds. Cover and let rise till double. Bake in hot oven, 350 for approx 15 - 18 min...tops should be browned. Cool on rack. Split the rolls and place in freezer bag for later use as hamburger buns.
