1 heaping tbsp Fage Total 0% Fat Free Plain Greek Yogurt (or any FRESH greek yogurt you like that has LIVE/ACTIVE cultures. Fage has become my go-to as others have not performed as well)

How Do I Make Instant Pot 2% Greek Yogurt (Cold Start)?

Here is how you make Instant Pot 2% Greek Yogurt (Cold Start):

Pour the milk into your instant pot. Add the tbs of Fage in, and whisk to combine (this is your starter)Place a glass lid over the top of your Instant Pot (no pressure is used to make the yogurt so it does not need to be the locking lid)Press the yogurt button, amke sure it is on the NORMAL settings (NOT LOW) and adjust the cooking time to 9 hours (MY preference - you can select any time that works for you. LOTS of webpages out there with their own opinions on time, a quick Google or Pinterest search will give you tons of results)When the time is up, DO NOT STIR! Transfer the pot to the refrig to cool at least 8 hours. After it is completely cool, you can eat/enjoy with whatever toppings or add ins you like - HOWEVER since I like it very thick, once it's cool, I transfer to a EuroStrainer (Google is your friend) and let the whey strain overnight. The whey can be used for lots of other things, and you are left with a very thick, creamy yogurt, perfect for 2 ingredient dough, sour cream replacement, or anything else you want.
