The ingredients for yogurt are:

Pour milk into a very large pot. bring to 160 degrees F. Do not stir.
Cool milk back down to 60 degrees F by placing pot in a sink of very cold water.
When cooled stir in yogurt, be sure you are using live, active yogurt.
Cover pot and wrap in a large towel.
Place on heating pad set on low overnight.
In the morning stir your homemade yogurt. If you want thicker product, line a colander with cheesecloth, place over a large bowl and allow yogurt to drain to your desired consistency. At this point you can flavor with your choice of flavorings such as vanilla, almond, etc. you can also add sweetener. I leave it plan so that I can use it in savory dishes and as a dressing for salad.
Keep in covered container in refrigerator. Keeps up to two weeks.
