Preheat oven to 425 degrees2. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. 3. Cut in the butter with pastry blender, until mix resembles coarse meal. 4. Mix in cherries and almonds. 5. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk and almond extract. 6. Stir into flour mix just until moist. If sticky, add a bit more flour. 7. Turn dough out of bowl, make into ball, flatten to 1/2-inch thick. 8. Cut into 8 wedges.9.
