Here is how you make Chayote with Apples and Pecans:

Bring large pot of water to boil. Halve Chayote, remove seed and place in boiling water Boil 15 minutes. While Chayote is boiling, chop apples and onion and spray skillet with Pam. Put onions in skillet on low and sweat (I had to add a touch of water).Once Chayote has boiled 15 minutes, remove from water and drain on paper towel. Peel and cube. Place Chayote, Apples and Pecans in with Onions. Sprinkle with pepper. Cook until Chayote is fork tender. (20 - 30 minutes) Stir as needed.Remove to plate.
