The ingredients for Brussels sprouts - Balsamic glazed are:

3/4 to 1 lb fresh brussels sprouts
1 tsp. each salt, pepper, & onion powder (to taste)
1.5 oz of cured ham (I use lean-no fat country ham or smoked ham)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter"
1.5 - 2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 to 1 cup halved grape/cherry tomatoes

How Do I Make Brussels sprouts - Balsamic glazed?

Here is how you make Brussels sprouts - Balsamic glazed:

Wash & trim outer leaves from brussels sprouts and cut in half. Season with salt, pepper, & onion powder. Finely chopped into really small cubes or minced cubes. In olive oil, saute ham until almost crispy & remove pieces from oil. Add tbsp of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter to remaining oil in pan. Add brussels sprout to pan, cut side down. On medium heat, I cook the cut side until it is browned. Once brown, I add sugar (to taste), balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and stir all this together. I add the cut grape tomatoes and ham. I stir those in until just lightly warmed and then transfer to serving bowl. (Tomatoes will continue to warm but not cook. You don't want cooked mushy tomatoes)Number of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user CATTYSHEBA.
