Here is how you make Jamaican Banana Bread:

Cream the butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat mixture thoroughly. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Mash bananas, add vanilla. Add sifted ingredients and banana alternately to the egg, butter and sugar mixture beating after each addition until thoroughly blended. Add raisins with pecans to batter, mixing well. Pour batter into buttered loaf pan.
