Here is how you make Baked French Toast Casserole:

Butter baking dish liberally. Tear bread into rough chunks, 1.5 - 2 inches, and place into baking dish. Whisk cream, milk, eggs, vanilla and sugar together. Pour batter over the bread and let soak while you prepare streusel, or even overnight. Mix butter, flour, pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in medium bowl, and mix together with a fork or pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
