Here is how you make Steve's Squash Casserole:

Slice squash into 1/2" slices and cook until just tender (boil or microwave). Put remaining ingredients, less 1 TBSP of breadcrumbs, in a bowl. Place hot, drained squash on top on ingredients in the bowl. Use a potato masher to combine and break up squash. Be sure and leave the squash chunky. Pour ingredients in a baking dish and smooth out. Sprinkle remaining 1 TBSP of breadcrumbs over casserole.Place in a 350 oven for 20 to 30 minutes until browned on top.
