With a knife, cut each leaf from the rib; roughly shred the leaves and chop the ribs. Steam the chard ribs 8-10 minutes, sprinkling them with lemon juice to prevent them from losing color.Melt the butter & olive oil in a saute pan, add the shallots and garlic, and saute over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add the chard leaves and saute for about 2 minutes, until lightly wilted, stirring with tongs or 2 wooden spoons. Add steamed ribs, and toss to combine.
