Put empty pan on medium/high heat, add olive oil and garlic. (You could also add onion flakes or fresh diced onion if you like.) Add uncooked pasta and saute for a few minutes (like you would Rice-a-Roni) until pasta is lightly browned, then add water slowly and bring to a boil. Lower heat as needed to keep pasta from burning to the pan. Most of the water should be absorbed after 8 -10 minutes. DO NOT DRAIN THE PASTA! Add in your cheeses and dressing and stir well.
