1/2 cup flour ( I used white)
1 cup fat free milk
1 cup (4 oz) american cheese, chopped
1 cup (4 oz) reduced fat cheddar cheese (2%)
.25 tsp hot sauce (if desired)
.25 cup bread crumbs (I use panko)
2 TBS. grated parmesan cheese
(Optional: 1/2 tsp salt (not included in nutritional information)

Here is how you make Under 350 calorie Mac and Cheese:

Pre heat over to 375. Coat 13 x 9 pan with spray non stick cooking spray.Cook macaroni according to package directions then drain, rinse and set aside Pour oil into saucepan and heat at medium, then add the flour. Whisk together, cooking for about 1 minute. Then add milk, stirring and cooking for about 5 minutes till thickened. Add American and Cheddar cheese, stirring till melted and smooth. Add hot sauce if desired.Stir mixture into macaroni then put in the cooking pan. Mix parmesan and bread crumbs in another bowl then sprinkle over macaroni mix and pop in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, covered with foil.
