How Do I Make Healthier Chicken and Dumplings?

Here is how you make Healthier Chicken and Dumplings:

Cook and shred chicken. Put at the bottom of a fairly large pot, and add 4 cups of milk, boullion and some black pepper to taste. Heat until milk is boiling. While waiting for the milk to warm up, mix the bisquick with the bisquick spices and remaining milk until it's a dough. When the milk is boiling, drop teaspoon sized dollops of dough into the boiling chicken and milk mixture. Stir to make sure the dumplings don't stick together and to prevent the milk from burning on the bottom of the pot (which is on mid heat now). Once all of the dough is used up, keep stirring the mixture, as the dumplings will inflate. Before turning the pot heat down, pour in corn starch mixed with a little bit of water, and give it a good stirring. Lower heat and allow to cook for another 5 minutes, then take off the heat and allow the mixture to thicken.Number of Servings: 7Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user DOGSNRODENTS.
