1. Slice plantain into long oval slices, about 1/2 inch thick or a little smaller. Mix Splenda and cinnamon together in a small bowl, put to the side.2. Coat frying pan with butter flavored cooking spray, add 4 tbsps of water, add plantain, cover and cook on medium (too soften all the way thru). After they have softened proceed to step 3.3. Using steamed plaintain or black (fully ripe) plantain, in a frying pan coat with butter flavor cooking spray, add plaintain flat side down, spray cooking spray on exposed sides...cook until nicely brown on each side.4.
