The ingredients for Granola are:

4 cups Old Fashion Oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 chopped walnuts
1/2 chopped pecans
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (fresh is you have it)
1/4 c canola oil
1/4 c honey
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c crasins (or whatever dried fruit you like)


How Do I Make Granola?

Here is how you make Granola:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl mix oats, brown sugar, nuts, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Measure out and mixed together the canola oil, honey and vanilla. Warm this in a microwave for about 15 seconds. Pour the oil mixture over the oat mixture and mix completely. Spread out over a 13 x 9 baking sheet (jelly roll pan with sides works best) Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, gently tossing and turning every 10 minutes. Let cool, then add the dried fruit.
