1. Plug in the crockpot and turn to low.2. Add the 4 cups milk.3. Cover and cook on low for 2 1/2 hours.4. Unplug your crockpot. Leave the cover on, and let it sit for 3 hours.5. When 3 hours have passed, remove 1 cup of the warm milk and mix with the 1/4 cup of yogurt with live cultures.5. Put the yogurt/milk mixture into the crockpot and mix with all of the milk in the crockpot.6. Cover with the lid. DO NOT PLUG THE CROCKPOT BACK ON.7. Wrap a heavy towel around the crockpot. Let it sit for at least 8 hours.8. After 8 hours, remove the lid and gently stir-you now have creamy, homemade yogurt!9.
