How Do I Make Big E's Honey Barbeque #1?

Here is how you make Big E's Honey Barbeque #1:

Makes 16 2-tbs servingsFirst take one cup of water and pour it over the ice in a 2 cup container. Drink it! Let the ice melt and drink that too! That's two of your 8 cups of water for today!!Now for the prep:1) put everything except the remaining two cups of water into an 8" skillet (doesn't really matter what kind of pan/pot)2) Turn the burner on low to low-medium3) Mix until all is homogenized and smooth3) When the first bubble pops through the sauce, add 1 cup of water, mix thoroughly and raise temperture to medium4) Wait for the sauce to start bubbling, then add the second cup of water, mix throroughly and lower the temp back to low to low-medium5) Let the sauce simmer for an hour or two, checking occassionally for burning (if burning: mix thoroughly and lower temp further)6) When the sauce gets to 2 cups volume, turn off the heat and wait to cool.7) Enjoy! You can use this on anything you would want to have BBQ sauce with. For me, I use it to replace ketchup (Oh, I love ketchup).Best Wishes,-E-P.S. After making this recipe, I noticed that it seemed gritty. This is because of the Garlic Powder. I will be trying it again without the Garlic soon.Number of Servings: 16Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user ETCHILDE.
