Sweet potato, 0.5 cup, chunks
Carnation Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk, 375 gram tin
Tasty Cheese, 30 grams grated
Corn Starch, 1 heaped teaspoon
Pasta, cooked, 2 cups


How Do I Make Creamy Cheesy Veges and Pasta?

Here is how you make Creamy Cheesy Veges and Pasta:

Boil the water for your pasta while chopping up your veges. When you put your pasta in to cook start stirfrying your veges in a non-stick pan. Put the onions, carrots and peppers in first. After a few minutes (when the onion is slightly cooked, add the tin of Carnation Light and Creamy evaporated milk.Reduce the heat and add your chopped broccoli and sweet potatoes. After a few more minutes add in the zucchini and mushrooms and let it simmer away for about five minutes or until the veges are just cooked to your liking.Drain the pasta once it's cooked, add it to your pan with the veges and evaporated milk and stir through. After a couple of minutes also stir through the grated cheese.Mix the cornstarch with some cold water and add to your pan stirring through until it's the consistency you want.Serve and enjoy, this makes 3-4 large servings for us which we have with grilled chicken steaks or similar.
