I have to say I LOVE my Kitchen Aid stand mixer! It has so many uses other then making cakes. One of my favorite things to use it for is kneading bread. It is almost just as easy as a bread machine but doesn?t take up the extra counter or cabinet space. Using beer in place of water has a very subtle flavor, but doesn't taste like beer. The added sugar and yeast from it makes this dough pretty no fail. You a can use water instead of beer and it will take off about 8 calories per slice. You can also use regular sugar in place of honey, but you will may need to add 1-2 teaspoons of extra water as the honey helps keep in moist.NOTE: You can also add herbs & garlic to your dough for added flavor, this is really a base recipe with endless possibilities.
