Here is how you make Quiche Lorraine:

place the dough in a 7" pie pan (or 9" - it will work, just will be more shallow)Bake the crust (with weighted waxed paper on top of it so it doesn't bubble up while baking) at 425 for 15 minutesmake the filling:~ fry the onions in the butter until soft, add bacon and fry it too until it is brown. Add to the pie pan when it comes out of the oven.~ in a bowl combine the egg the sour cream and the sallt and pepper. pour them into the pastry - over the onions and the bacon.~ bake it a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until the filling has set.if you choose to freeze this, cool it furst, put it in a ziploc bag and then freeze. when you are ready to serve it, remove it frozen from the bag and place it in a 350 degree oven and bake for 30-40 minutes.
