How Do I Make Asparagus and Almond Rice?

Here is how you make Asparagus and Almond Rice:

Makes 4, 1cup Servings.In medium pan, melt 1T butter over medium heat. Put in slivered almonds and toast for 2-3 minutes. Then add 1 cup of long grain brown rice and toast 1 more minute. Add the 2 cups (1 small can) of broth and stir. Cover and cook on low 15-20 minutes (until most of the liquid is absorbed. While rice is cooking, rinse the asparagus bunch. Trim off the spears so that only the top 4 inches are left. You will cut them up in small pieces, cutting on the bias. When rice is done cooking, stir and add asparagus and cover again, cooking about 2-4 minutes longer. Turn off heat and stir again.
