Heat oil over medium high heat until very hotAdd rice until lightly brownedAdd onion and cook until rice is dark brownMeanwhile mix everything in a small bowl Once rice is a deep brown (almost burned) add the liquid mixture and stir. Cook over medI'm high heat for 5 to 10 minutesTurn heat to low and cover for 10-20 mins (Do not stir rice after this step it will become mushy)To check the doneness of the rice lift lid and pull spoon through middle of pan to check for liquid. Once liquid is gone remove from heat.Serving Size: Makes approx 8 1-cup servings
