1.75 cup Orzo Pasta
.5 bottle Low Fat Italian Dressing
1 package (10 oz) Peas, frozen
1 package (8 oz) Mixed Pepper Strips (frozen), coarsely chopped
3 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1 large Onion, raw , minced
3 tbsp Basil, dried
4 tbsp Oregano, dried


How Do I Make Lentil and Orzo Salad?

Here is how you make Lentil and Orzo Salad:

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the sorted and rinsed lentils. Return pot to a simmer and cook 10 minutes. Add in the orzo pasta and continue to simmer another 11 minutes. Drain well and rinse. Place in a large bowl and add the salad dressing. Cover and refrigerate to cool. Once cool, add finely minced onion, coarsely chopped peppers, garlic, peas, basil and oregano.
