Here is how you make Linguini with Anchovy and Garlic sauce:

Cook pasta in large pot of boiling water (salted or not, as you prefer).Meanwhile, in a large saute pan, cook anchovies in garlic and butter until they pretty much disintegrate into a paste. Add shallots and cook for a minute or two until soft. Turn down heat and add garlic; cook until fragrant and add tomatoes and spinach. Cook just until spinach begins to wilt. Add chicken broth and remove from heat.Drain pasta, reserving a cup of pasta water.Turn up heat under broth mixture till it just barely comes to a boil; remove from heat and add hot, drained pasta.
