1 can salt free peas
6 cups of water
4 cups nonfat milk, (use the dehydrated kind but keep the milk and water for milk seperate)
1 Tbsp black pepper
6 oz. diced turkey ham


How Do I Make Hearty Potato Soup?

Here is how you make Hearty Potato Soup:

Put all ingredients except canned peas and milk into a large stock pot. Heat to boiling, then turn heat to medium low and continue simmering for about 2 hours. Potato starch should be thickening the soup up. Turn heat down to low. Add the water for reconstitutin the milk to cool the soup off a little. Then add the milk powder that you would use to make 4 cups of milk. Stir into soup. Add the canned peas, undrained. Turn the heat back up to medium and return to simmer. Continue heating until soup is hot and starting to thicken a little. Makes 4-6 large servings. The nutritional calculations are for 4 servings.
