1) Sort and was the lentils2) Add the lentils, diced tomatoes (undrained) and 2.5-3 cups of water to a 1 qt saucepan3) Bring this to a boil then reduce heat to a low temperature, cover and cook for 20-30 minutes (or lentils are desired tenderness).
