2 Tbsp. heavy cream
2 Tbsp. 1% milk
2 Tbsp. cinnamon applesauce
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 packets of Splenda (or sugar-free substitute of choice)
1/2 cup Water
1/2 scoop of Whey Protein Powder, Vanilla (about 2 Tbsp.)
1/2 tsp Allspice


How Do I Make Low-Carb Belgian Waffles?

Here is how you make Low-Carb Belgian Waffles:

Preheat waffle iron & spray with non-stick cooking spray. In medium mixing bowl, beat egg substitute on high speed until thicker & pale yellow (about 3 minutes). Then mix in the cream, milk & water. Put mixer on low speed and slowly add the CarbQuik, Splenda, protein powder, allspice, applesauce & vanilla. Then fold in the oil. May need to add a little more water if consistency is too thick to pour. Pour slightly less than a cupful into the center of the waffle iron & cook until it stops steaming (about 5 minutes). Total cooking time will depend on size and make of waffle iron. Gently remove waffle & place in oven (on low temperature) to keep warm while you fix the remaining 2 waffles.Serving Size:?1/2 waffle equals 1 serving (recipe makes 3 large waffles)
