1 Cup of milk
3 tsp Butter
3 TBS Sugar
1 tsp salt
1.5 Cups white flour
1.5 Cups of wheat flour


How Do I Make Hearty Wheat Rolls?

Here is how you make Hearty Wheat Rolls:

Mix yeast and water in the bowl of a Stand mixer with a dough hook, or in a large mixing bowl. Heat milk until bubbly on stove eye. Add butter, sugar, and salt to the pot and stir until dissolved. Allow it to cool to luke warm. Add the liquid to the bowl with the yeast and stir. Mix in all of the flour. If using a dough hook allow it to knead for 8 minutes with the mixer. If not turn out onto a lightly floured surface and hand knead for 10 minutes. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes and then divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll into almost a football/off round shape.
