Here is how you make Scalloped Zucchini:

Wash squash and trim off ends; do not peel. cut zucchini only what is needed to fit in a sauce pan. wover with boiling salted water and cook for 15 min or until it is just tender. Drain reserving 1/2 cup of the liquid. Coarsely chop the zucchini. In a 10 in. frying pan cook the sausage and onion together over medium heat till sausage is brown and onion is tender. Drain. Add the zucchini, reserved liquid and the rest of the ingredients. mix well.
