Here is how you make Almond Bars:

In saucepan over medium heat cook almond butter and honey. Stir until soft. Add oat bran, carob, and almonds. When well blended, remove from heat and add fruit. While it is warm, spread into 9x9 greased cake pan. Pat down firmly. (Don't burn your fingers!)Put in fridge. When cool, slice into pieces. Freezes well. Feel free to substitute almonds for cashews, peanuts, or other types of nuts.
