Here is how you make Hudson Bay Bread:

Cream together the butter, sugar, syrup, honey, and maple flavoring. Add the mixed nuts and oatmeal while mixing. Spread into a backing pan and press it down firmly so it is about 1/2 inch thick. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes. As soon as the bread is taken from the oven press it down again with a spatula to keep from crumbling. Cut into desired serving sizes while still warm.
