This is an old Scandanavian recipe from a woman who went to my church (which is proud of it's Scandanavian heritage and has a "Scandanavian Fair" every November) for years and years and years before she died. Of course, she was very Swedish too - Olga Johansson!Cooking instructions: preheat oven to 300-325- Blend butter, sugar, syrup; add egg and stir well- Sift dry ingredients and mix- Roll into small balls, dip in pearl sugar, and flatten slightly.
