8 dried figs - dices
1 table spoon of fresh ground cloves
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of water


How Do I Make Tom's Fruit Leather?

Here is how you make Tom's Fruit Leather:

peel and then chop the apples into small squares. Dice the figs and then put apples and figs into a large pot with water. Over simmering heat use a potato masher or other instrument to mash down the apples as they cook down. Add the salt and cloves to the mix. Cook down till it reaches a apple sauce consistency.
