1 cup butter
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla (or maple flavoring)
1 tsp salt
2 cups honey
12 cups rolled oats
10 TB ground flax
3/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut


How Do I Make G4G's granola?

Here is how you make G4G's granola:

Melt butter in large pot (I use a 7qt) on medium low. Add cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Mix. Add honey and warm through while mixing. Add oats, flax and coconut. Mix well. Spread into two lightly greased cookie sheets and pat down. Bake in 325 oven for 12-18 minutes, until lightly browned. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely in the pan (I make at night and then allow to cool overnight). Crumble into cereal container. This makes about 15 1-cup servings.
