1 cup 7-Grain Cereal (such as Bob's Red Mill)
1/2 cup Oat Bran
1-1/2 cup Slivered Almonds, raw
1/2 cup Reduced Fat Shredded Coconut
1/4 cup Flax Seed
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2/3 cup Honey
2 Tbs Virgin Coconut Oil
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 cup Dried Cherries


How Do I Make Super Delicious Granola Bars?

Here is how you make Super Delicious Granola Bars:

1. Preheat oven to 350* Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.2. Place steel cut oats, 7 grain cereal, oat bran, flax seed and coconut on a rimmed cookie sheet, and spread into an even layer.3. Roast mixture in the oven for 15 minutes, stirring the mixture a couple times during baking.4. While dry ingredients are roasting, mix together honey, coconut oil, vanilla and salt in a saucepan over medium heat until the honey and oil mix together.5. When dry ingredients have finished roasting, remove from oven and reduct oven heat to 300*. Add the roasted mixture to the honey mixture and mix well. Chop dried fruit in to smaller pieces, if desired, and add to pan, too.6. Pour everything into the greased baking pan, using a spatula to spread the mixture in the pan uniformly.7. Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.8. Carefully slice into bars while still hot, and allow bars to cool before removing from pan.My friend suggest using other dried fruits such as cranverries or blueberries, and chopped pistachios for the nuts.
