Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain 6 serving=3 cups
Brown Sugar, 35 tsp packed=1/3 cup
salt 1/4 tsp
GV vegetable oil, 4 tbsp=1/4 cup
Honey, 12 tbsp=2/3 cup
vanilla extract, 1 tsp
Almonds, 56 grams=2oz bag
dried pineapple pieces, 40 gram(s)=1/3 cup
GV dried cranberries, 40 gram(s)=1/3 cup


How Do I Make Jen's Homemade Granola?

Here is how you make Jen's Homemade Granola:

Preheat oven to 325. Mix the oats, brown sugar, 1/4 tsp salt together in large bowl. In another smaller bowl mix oil, honey and 1 tsp vanilla. Then using your hands mix the oat mixture with the wet. Place a thin layer on a cookie sheet or two. Bake for 10 minutes then stir cook another 10 minutes then stir and then bake an additional 10 minutes or until light brown. Be care full not to let it burn. Low and slow is best. Then as it is cooling stir occasionally so it doesn't stick together. Last up to 7 days in an air tight glass jar best.Serving Size: makes a total of 6 cups so I have made mine into 24 servings of 1/4 cupNumber of Servings: 24Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user JENVANKAMPEN.
