Mix the oats, brown sugar, 1/4 tsp salt together in large bowl. In another smaller bowl mix oil, honey and 1 tsp vanilla. Then using your hands mix the oat mixture with the wet. Place a thin layer on a cookie sheet or two. Bake for 10 minutes then stir cook another 10 minutes then stir and then bake an additional 10 minutes or until light brown. Be care full not to let it burn. Low and slow is best. Then as it is cooling stir occasionally so it doesn't stick together.
