The ingredients for Quinoa Bars are:

1 cup of cooked quinoa
1 cup of oatmeal
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup of dried fruit
1/2 cup of chopped nuts
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/2 cup of honey or agave (3/4 cup if you like your bars more firm than chewy)
1 tbsp canola oil


How Do I Make Quinoa Bars?

Here is how you make Quinoa Bars:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 glass baking dish. Cook quinoa according to directions on the bag/box. Mix with oatmeal, coconut, dried fruit and nuts and spread on the bottom of the pan. Place it in the oven for 20 minutes. In the meantime, on the stove top in a small pot, mix the peanut butter, agave or honey and canola oil. Bring to just a boil and remove from heat right away. In a bowl mix all of the ingredients together until wet and spread back into the glass pan. Press down evenly and place back in the oven for 20 minutes. When its done let cool 20 minutes on a cooling rack and in the fridge for at least an hour before cutting into bars.
