Here is how you make Mama's Fruit Salad:

Peal and section grapefruit and oranges, being sure to squeeze all the extra juice out you can. Cut grapes in half and add to citrus. Chop apple and slice banana and add to citrus. Add about 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and mix. Best if you can leave in the refrigerator several hours before serving. The sugar helps pull the juices out of the fruit and is really yummy. Note: Sometimes the citrus is sweet enough that you don't even need sugar. I only add it so other members of my family will eat it, but I like it without the sugar just fine.
