Here is how you make Jackie's Healthy Smoothie:

First, I make a vegetable juice made from my kale stalks, celery, and carrots. Any other vegetables that are in my refrigerator go into the juice with the exception of onions and garlic. I always put some beet juice, turmeric, and ginger into the juice. A quart of juice lasts me almost a week.I also add half a banana, kale or oregano leaves, flaxseed meal, and frozen blueberries. In the summertime, I take up to 8 leaves right off the garden plants.Next, I add about a cup of kefir into the mix. Sometimes I add a splash or orange juice or black cherry juice if the mixture is too thick.I blend this mixture in my Magic Bullet, and I split the 16 ounces of my smoothie between my husband and me.Serving Size: 12 ouncesNumber of Servings: 1Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user JSTETSER.
