Here is how you make Honey Baked Squash:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place squash cut side down in a shallow ovenproof dish; add boiling water to come to a depth of 1". Cover w/ aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Place butter in a small saucepan and melt over low heat; add cinnamon, honey, figs, almonds, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix well. Carefully pour off the water from the baking dish containing the squash; turn squash cut sides up.
