Drain the beans if you use canned ones and soak them in fresh water overnight or a couple of hours.If you use dried beans, wash them thoroughly (they are most of the times very dusty from the drying process) a couple of times and soak them in fresh water overnight.Drain soaked beans and cook them in fresh water until desired firmness. Let them cool off.Cut mango and red onion in small cubes.
