Put quinoa in 2 cups of water in a pot, cover, bring to a boil, and then turn down to a simmer. Cook until you can see the curly-cues, and the water is soaked up, about 12-15 minutes. While this is cooking you can chop the broccoli and start perparing everything else.Steam the broccoli florettes for 2-3 minutes, then rinse with cold water.Dry-roast the slivered almonds in a pan.(At this point if you haven't made the pesto yet, blend that up.)When the quinoa is done, mix the quinoa with the pesto. Add salt, and maybe a little more lemon juice, to taste.
